ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

 

     This Department offers various subjects relating to Electronics and Communication Engineering and promotes various activities in related areas, collaborating with industries wherever possible. The Department has a Computing Center with 45 nodes along with special software like Lab view, NS -2, CCS, RCAD-PSPICE, MATHCAD, MATLAB, XILINX and Mentor graphics etc., to meet the demands of student projects and other activities.

To make this Department a Centre of Excellence in Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialization in VLSI, Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems and Communication Systems.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVIES (PEO's)

PEO1: To equip the students with sufficient theoretical, analytical and initiative skills in Basic Sciences and Engineering.

PEO2: To provide adequate research ambience enabling the students to inculcate thirst for lifelong learning and sustained research interest.

PEO3: To instill and practice values, leadership qualities and team spirit to promote entrepreneurship and indigenization.
